Hey, I'm Wichard, the founder of Animus Medicus.

I am a brand new doctor myself and I love anatomy!

For ages I have been looking for anatomy posters that really look great and reflect my passion for medicine.
This is how Animus Medicus came about because I simply couldn't find what I was looking for and the normal standard posters weren't any good for me.

Anatomy can be intimidating. As a medical student, I often found it dry and overwhelming. But over time, I have come to appreciate its beauty and importance.

Even as a child, I often went to the doctor or to physiotherapy, where they tried to explain to me how the human body works using standard anatomical pictures.

But the spark didn't fly: I could see and understand the pictures, but they were just ugly. With this basic idea in mind, I founded Animus Medicus and since then I've been happy every day about how many people are also enthusiastic about anatomy.

Since when has Animus? existed

Animus Medicus was founded in 2019 and is a German startup.
The first poster was ordered in February 2019.
It was an overview of the teeth. We started with 5 motifs, but now there are over 200.
